Waterloo Station London
From July the former Eurostar platforms at Waterloo Station will be transformed into a new theatre space to house the York Theatre Royal's production of The Railway Children which was originally staged at the National Railway Museum in York. The traverse staging of this production, with the audience seated on opposite platforms and the action taking place between them with sets built on moving stages on the railway track, provides for a unique retelling of this classic story.
